About us

We are Chris and Bonnie, mother and daughter. We live with our dogs in the municipality Sint-Niklaas (Belgium)

It all started with our Jack Russell "Penn "....

My mother wanted a dog for some company. Therefore she started in 2000 to look for a jack russell and so is "Penn" come to live with us.

She is with Penn went to the dog school with the intention to run agility. Because is was obliged in the club to follow first a basic obedience, she is started with Belgian obedience.

Now that obedience was quite fun and they continue to do so.
When it was my 17th birthday, had a long cherished dream come true ..... I got my own dog!

The border collie was the race that most appealed to me and so I came out at Benz.

Penn was now two years old and love it to play with my Benz.
My mother played with Penn in agility and obedience competitions, but unfortunately Penn diddn(t like the Belgian weather (wet and cold).

Penn has now become a house dog (and a great foster mother to the pups), but she did have earned her stripes in sports, she played in Program 1 (obedience) and grade 2 (Agility).

Because Penn not like the Belgian weather and Benz kept us both very well liked, we went looking for a new border collie.

We ended up with Elisabeth Kotschy. And we thank her still for our Qenya.
My mother had Kenya (the mother of our Qenya) are shown on the site of Elizabeth and was immediately sold to those beautiful eyes that Kenya had. When the pups were born there was a red merle bitch that resembled her mother very hard. We then asked Elizabeth if she would mind if we would call her to her mother. It was the Q litter, so it was Qenya.

We found Qenya of character and willingness to work as a good border collie that we had decided to breed with her, she is free of DNA: CEA, TNS and CL.
Qenya has a high "will to please" and in our opinion is also a beautiful border collie. Qenyaplays obedience Program 2 (top program) and grade 2 agility.

When Qenya was approximately one year we had decided to apply for a kennel name. We wanted it to perfection just do what also meant that a kennel would be born ..... and it's has become "Bonnie Blue" ....
Bonnie comes from my own name and blue comes from my eyes that's are blue.

We got our name in September 2004.

With all our dogs, we do multiple sports.
Our first litter are born on 03/01/2007. We have two puppies kept and with them, we are currently grade 2 agility and obedience competitions program 1.

Our latest addition is because my mother has long dreamed to work with a male ...... and it's become our Red Rittmeister .
Red Rittmeister is a very sweet and open nature, social dog and is very sweet to other animals and people, but he has a particular weakness for children.
He is very happy and very excited.
He is now also used as a stud.

Our second litter was born on 29/10/2010. From this litter we keep a bitch "Junicate" named afther daughter of the brother of Q, Qenya's brother. Junicate is our hope for the future.
